Note that we are not localizing Logger Pro for other languages on Mac OS X. Likewise, Logger Lite 1.8 fixes this issue. Vernier has released Logger Pro 3.9 that fixes the issue and allows Logger Pro to be used on non-English Mac systems running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). This crash occurs due to a change in the way Apple calls the default system font. However, we found that Logger Pro and related programs will crash when they are launched on a computer running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) if a language other than English-US is set as the primary language. Tests of Logger Pro 3.8.7, Logger Lite 1.7, and Graphical Analysis (for desktop) 3.8.4 revealed that all programs function well, as long as the system’s primary language is set to English-US. This issue is resolved with a software or firmware update.Īpple released OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) in October, 2014.
